Live Workshop on Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy

I had the privilege of conducting a Live Workshop on Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy at the Government Medical College Hospital, Dindigul.
The workshop featured live demonstrations of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, step-by-step teaching on port placement, energy sources, and ergonomics, along with hands-on endotrainer sessions for postgraduate students.

Workshop Highlights:
• Live demonstrations of key gynecologic procedures
• Hands-on training for postgraduates on endotrainers
• Interactive discussions on surgical techniques, instrument handling, and troubleshooting

Procedures Performed:

1. Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with uterine artery ligation at its origin and endo-morcellation–

3. Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy – Endo bag etc

The workshop aimed to enhance surgical skills, confidence, and understanding of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery among trainees and practicing gynecologists.

The session received excellent feedback for its academic content and practical orientation.
Grateful for the opportunity to share knowledge, perform live demonstrations, and engage with enthusiastic learners.
It was truly a rewarding day of learning, teaching, and professional exchange.
